We designed a multi-functional space featuring a hybrid screened porch and open deck, complemented by an expansive stamped concrete patio.
Design & Structure
- Gable Roof Screen Porch: Built a covered structure to provide a pollen-free, bug-free environment for relaxing
- Dedicated Grilling Area: Left a 4-foot open section outside the screened area for a convenient grilling station
- Premium Finishes: Wrapped the structure in maintenance-free white PVC and used black balusters for a modern contrast
- Finished Interior: Featured a white beadboard ceiling, recessed lighting, a ceiling fan, and a pre-run ethernet cable for future television installation
Custom Stamped Concrete Patio & Hardscaping
Strategic Layout: Designed the patio and stairs to maximize the available flat space and ensure a natural flow from the house
Elegant Stamped Concrete: Installed a patio in an Ashlar slate pattern with a blend of soft gray, medium gray, and dark gray release agents for a natural stone look
Decorative Accents: Added a custom compass rose medallion for a touch of artistry
Functional Walkway: Created a continuous path from the driveway to the patio for easy access
Defined Spaces: Built seat walls with pillars and included a dedicated opening to provide easy access to the grassy area for a future pool.
